About me

The mountains and fiords of New Zealand, there's just something about them.

I'm incredibly proud to have been born and raised in Aotearoa but blessed to now call Australia home.

Depth of experience

  • Deep experience in digital transformation: my work has covered the full spectrum of transformation from front-end upgrades that deliver new customer value propositions and enhanced user experience to foundational back-end projects including large scale platform upgrades, data migration initiatives and critical data privacy and security enhancements.

  • Expertise across the end-to-end product / project lifecycle: my core strength is the ability to drive a project from inception to delivery. From scoping and validating new ideas and defining product strategy to crafting functional requirements and user stories. From driving testing (SIT/UAT/PEN) and sign-off all the way through to supporting operational and change management activities.

  • Strong technical capability: while I do not have a technical background, years of working with tech BAs, solution architects, engineers and developers has enabled me to build a strong technical understanding - including contributing to and validating technical specifications, solution design documents, data schemas, system sequence diagrams and API specifications.

Tortoise & Hare (CX Agency)

Since Nov 2022

I have partnered with the team at CX agency Tortoise & Hare to provide freelance business analysis support for two of their key clients.

  • Endeavour Group (ALH Hotels): Conducted impact analysis to investigate and recommended the best single tap payment solution for digital wallet capability within the Pub+ app. Pub+ is the member benefits program offered by ALH Hotels.

  • Techtronic Industries (Ryobi): Developed high level business requirements for an enhanced member benefits program for the power tools brand Ryobi. This work documented required capabilities for all levels of the program, including customer use cases, brand and marketing, operational requirements, data insights and predictive modelling and technology requirements.

Ramsay Health Care

Dec 2022 - Jun 2024

The shift into healthcare was extremely rewarding. Ramsay is currently in the early phases of a multi-year digital transformation program that unpins their strategic roadmap to 2030. During my time at Ramsay I served in Project Manager and Delivery Lead roles, including:​

  • Project Manager for the build and deployment of InPlace Network, a student placement platform that allows hospitals and tertiary education providers to manage clinical placements for health care students.

  • Delivery Lead for the build and deployment of 'Digitised Medical Records.' This is a key initiative in Ramsay's digital transformation roadmap, designed to transition hospitals from traditional paper based medical records to secure digital records.

Woolworths Group (WooliesX)

Jan 2016 - Oct 2022

As a Lead Business Analyst at WooliesX, I was fortunate to have been part of the Everyday Rewards team since 2016 and built deep domain expertise in the loyalty space.

  • Led and contributed to a range of projects including the relaunch of Everyday Rewards in 2016 (introduction of the core 1 point per $1 spent proposition), the enablement of Everyday Rewards in Tasmania and early work on Everyday Extra (Subscriptions).

  • In 2020, I acted as both Delivery Lead and Business Analyst to oversee the final evolution of loyalty strategy for Tasmania. This involved the complete decommission of FSC and the full roll-out of the Everyday Rewards program with all associated front-end customer engagement channels and back-end architecture and data capability.

  • Wrote the RFP document that resulted in the selection of EagleEye. This is the platform that now powers the Everyday Rewards program (to store points and dollar balances). It also powers Woolworths' capability for ‘hyper-personalisation at scale’ in the delivery of real-time, AI-enabled customer offers. for real-time, AI enabled customer offers.

Mar 2015 to Dec 2015

Senior Business Analyst in the website transformation team that launched the brand new www.mcgrath.com.au in preparation for McGrath's ASX listing as a public company in December 2015.

Hollard Financial Services

Jul 2014 to Mar 2015

Served as Project Manager to spearhead an early transformation of the insurance aggregator website www.choosi.com.au.

People and the outdoors

The two things I really care about in life. People and their mental health and well-being. Nature and the planet that gives us life. I am deeply interested in sustainability, health and agribusiness and will be focusing on building connections with people and organisations doing amazing work in these spaces. I am fascinated to see how digital will transform these sectors and whether this can truly result in more sustainable practices that allow us to meet our needs with less footprint. I'm a hopeful believer.
